Swahili course – beginner level – 6 months – 1h/week

This course will take place every monday and wednesday from 8pm to 9pm (CEST)

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

• Pronounce any word in Swahili
• Initiate and respond to basic greetings in sequence
• Initiate and respond to polite expressions in Swahili
• Master basic and advanced vocabulary
• Introduce yourself
• Describe an event
• Describe a place
• Ask and answer basic questions in all tenses (who, what, where)
• Distinguish and form singular and plural forms of nouns up to the 14th nominal class in Swahili
• Count to a billion in Swahili
• Read the time
• Give simple and direct commands
• Recognize Swahili verbs in their infinitive form
• Conjugate Swahili verbs in the present tense
  You will also receive a certificate if you are consistent in class and pass the exercises at 80%.
